Quadrilateral PQRS was dilated to produce quadrilateral P'Q'R'S' on the grid below. What was the apparent scale factor of the dilation used to produce quadrilateral P'Q'R'S

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

sorry where is your drawing?

heres pic

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

from your drawing I see that measure(R)= 10 units, whereas measure(Q'R'= 5 units so the scale factor is: \[\frac{ 5 }{ 10 }=\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }\]
