All we need to do is get the variable alone. To do that we must first subtract 9 on both sides of the equation and then divide 2 on both sides of the equation, so therefore we have: 2y + 9 - 9 < 25 - 9 2y < 25 - 9 Can you tell me what is 25 - 9?
