Hello I am at 60 and that is wonderful however I would like to reach 90 and I would be much obliged if you would be so kind as too give me some pointers thank you!
Answer a lot of questions, get a lot of medals and fans, testimonies, talk in the chats. They all help your SS increase.
Also asking questions help...
Just log on everyday and answer a few questions and in no time you will reach 90 :D
But remember Do NOT make fake accounts to medal spam, get more fans and testimonies and using those fake accounts to make spam questions so that you can get medal! This is all against the Code of Conduct and an Admin may just ban you from OS or be nice and just remove all you medals and make you start new. Summary: Play fair and do not cheat the system :D
I never thought of that @TheSmartOne and dont worry I wont!
right... :D
i am also 60 and yes you should listen to thesmartone hence the name thesmartone he knows what he is talking about
Every little thing you do on OpenStudy can increase your smartscore. It's how well you do these things to increase it. There's no fast easy way to increase it. It takes time. For the problem solving portion, you must answer questions not only in detail, but guiding the user to understanding the problem. Giving direct answers is not only not allowed, but it doesn't even help the user understand anything. Plus, direct answers don't increase your smartscore as fast as answering in detail would. Teamwork! One thing people consider to be somewhat hard to do. By gaining fans as well as fanning users, you are then increasing your smartscore even more! The more fans you earn, the higher you go. But be aware that creating accounts to fan yourself doesn't increase your smartscore by much. Also, it's not allowed and could lead to your main account being suspended forever. You best bet would be to enter chats, as well as help out a lot. Lastly we have engagement. Here is the fun part, when you ask questions you're increasing your smartscore! Isn't that cool? You can increase your smartscore just by making threads you need help on! Not to mention the amount of medals you earn and give out can help increase it faster! But keep in mind, spamming yourself with medals isn't allowed on here and will not increase your smartscore fast at all. Another thing about engagement is that the longer you're on here, the higher your smartscore goes too! It's as if almost everything on here will increase your smartscore. It can be fun and I hope you find it very fun too. I hope you have the best time on OpenStudy and good luck with the journey on here. c: ~beccaboo333
the one thing is with the medals is that alot of people on here dont give you a medal they just get the answer and then they log off and dont give you a medal
medals aren't everything @samanthagreer if one is persistent in helping others, one will rack up enough medals anyways ^_^
@samanthagreer I can't reply to you, you didn't fan me see http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/543de42fe4b0b3c6e146b5e8 it's a tutorial to use openstudy see #4 :)
i am so sorry thank you i forgot
@sleepyhead314
Hehe my tutorial will roam all around on OS!! :D
I did good answers for 2 or 3 questions a day and went up a SS every week as a minimum. Now, 60 was pretty quick because I answered a bit more, but from say 70 to 90 I went up one or two a week. By then I had largely stopped answering math questions and moved on to Computer Science. Why? Less competition and I can answer about 90% of the questions we see here. If you want faster, see if you can answer 4 or 6 things a day, or ask questions! Asking or answering will get your sub scores up. Especially if you get involved and they are better posts with more activity!
questions per day... hmmm... I wonder... omg O_O @Abhisar averaged at about 27 questions per day studied I... that... wow
Yah, well, there was one person that did like 100 to 200 answers per day... they shot up to 99 in less than a month.
^^ most likely @Abhisar He got to 99 in 33 days studied. Mainly because we needed someone to answer all of them Biology questions :D
Nope. There was one faster. As I said, less than a month. His is like second fastest.
