Please help! sqrt 2x-6 ≤4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are there any other instructions? Simplify? Solve?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It says to solve.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the first thing you do when you are working with square roots is to square both sides. 2x-6≤16 Then you would add 6 2x ≤ 22 Then divide by 2 x ≤11 Does that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

woah. Those diamond boxes are suppose to be the less than or equal to sign

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x-6 is less than or equal to 16 2x is less than or equal to 22 and x is less than or equal to 11 There we go.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It makes more sense without the diamonds. c: Thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha! It's no problem!
