I measured a pH of 8 in glacial lakes, with temperatures on average around 1 deg C. The conductivity was measured to be very low, so I assume the high pH is temperature-driven. In a vertical profile, pH went from 8 to 9, while temperature dropped, leading me to conclude this. Am I on the right track?
