The velocity-time graph is shown below. What does it represent?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need some help with this can someone explain this to me?

OpenStudy (surry99):

A couple things to consider: a) what does the slope of a v vs time graph represent? b) what does the area under a v vs t graph represent?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

acceleration?

OpenStudy (surry99):

yes for a) now what about b)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not sure I'm going to take a guess and say displacement?

OpenStudy (surry99):

ok so now what can you say about this graph in terms of a) acceleration b) distance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh my god so obvious

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that it was distance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and hmmmm maybe has something to do with the change in acceleration?
