How do I solve for The formula A= 288e^0.048t models with populations in the thousands, t years after 1998. With estimated population of 465 thousand?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You want to find \(t\) or what?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

you need to substitute A = 465 and the solve for t.. so the equation looks like \[465 = 288 \times e^{0.048t}\] you need base e logs to solve it.

That still does not help. My answer is still off from my choses of years.
