solve C=πD for d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the question is solve the formula for the specific variable...

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

well, you want to eliminate the variable you are looking for on one side.. therefore you have to divide both sides of the equation by \(\pi\) to get rid of it on the right hand side.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how? i dont know..Im not that good in math

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

\[C=\pi D\]\[\frac{C}{\pi}=\frac{\pi D}{\pi}\]\[D=\frac{C}{\pi}\]
