The novel opens with Nick stating that he prefers to remain objective, and yet throughout the novel, there are hints that he is not objective at all. Indeed, many of the characters seem to hover between between judgment and objectivity. Who seems to be the most judgmental? the least? Focus on Gatsby, Daisy, Jordan, Nick and Tom in your responses here.
