How to do this? -2w^6(-4w^2 +6w +5). Do I use the distributive property and then add exponents? I got 8w^8 - 12w^7 - 10w^6 as an answer but it says it's wrong -.-

OpenStudy (kamibug):

Hmm, I got the same answer. You did it right. Idk why it's saying it's wrong...Could you take a screenshot of the question? :) \(\Huge\bf\color{seagreen}{Welcome~to~Openstudy!}\)

I don't know how to screenshot the question, but it said to rewrite without parenthesis and simplify my answer as much as possible.

OpenStudy (kamibug):

Well, after distributing there aren't any like terms...So this is already simplified...Sorry, I have no idea what we could've done wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I clicked explain under the question too......and it gave the same answer -.-

OpenStudy (kamibug):

xD Haha, oh well, it happens!
