Graph: 4x^2+4y^2=64 My answer for Domain & Range: Domain:-4<=x<=4 Range:-4<=y<=4 I need help with the Domain, is my answer correct or is it all real numbers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://www.symbolab.com use this !!! it helps with everything for math! thats honestly how ipassed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can't use it during a test so lets go through it >.<

OpenStudy (anonymous):

didn't know it was a test. lol.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first things first you can divide both sides by 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ow no its just when using those websites you don't learn how todo it and then you're good gamed during a test

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so divide both sides by 4 to start off because thats the fastest thing todo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the websites explain how to do it, just like we are.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^2+y^2=16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now we see x^2 and y^2 = 16, your teacher should have taught you when to look for circles and ovals

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if not then i don't know how she taught the course, but we find out this is a circle, because the numbers behind x^2 and y^2 are the same (they are 1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and so the radius of the circle is the square root of what the equation is equal to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so sqrt(16)=4 so this is a 4radius circle at the origin of 0,0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the domain and range are both [-4,4]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you are correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, I'm homeschooled and I attend online school regulations, lately I haven't been going through all of the steps because of overdue work, but this helped a lot, thanks.
