The graph below plots the values of y for different values of x:
Which correlation coefficient best matches the data plotted on the graph? 0.5 0.8 0.9 1.0
1.0
Can you tell me how? I just want to make sure. ^-^
ok hold on
I'm working on it
Okay.
i said thaT BECAUSE they are spaced out by 1
I don't get it. O.o Also, why would it take 15 whole minutes for you to type that? O.o
@SolomonZelman Can you check this?
I can't determine which function it would be, but probably some positive cubic function. The spacing between the points seems to be 1.0 (1 unit exactly). The points have different changes in y between them, but the change in x is same. it is the aforementioned "1".
I would also take 15 minutes to type it, (perhaps), because I haven't ever done these questions, when I studied this. (maybe because it is too simple, once you know what you are asked -> the change in x). But I never did this type of problems in my algebra.
Okay. Thanks. :)
Anytime.
