Describe each of the following properties of the graph of the Cosine Function, f(theta) = cos(theta) and relate the property to the unit circle definition of cosine. •Amplitude •Period •Domain •Range •x-intercepts NEED HELP PLEASE

@SolomonZelman

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I'll use x instead of theta, will that be fine?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the problem uses theta idk if that will change anything if you use x

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

The variable is same. I never liked the unit sircle, but I'll give you the graph to look at for a second. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/z37jpt6i6s

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

my conncetion got murdered for a second.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

You can see the range is bounded to [-1,1] .

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

domain is infinite.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all good

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

amplitude is 1, it is just the height of the graph.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok but um.. for amplitude and all those does the question mean I have to write out the definitions of each but I don't understand bout the circle thing

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

The period 2pi. every time the function repeats it's curve cycle. connection is dang slow.
