PLEASE HELP The altitude of a plane as it begins to descend is shown by the linear equation A = 22,000 - 800m, where A is the plane's altitude, in feet, and M is minutes. What's the planes altitude when M = 12?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

just replace m in the equation by 12 and work it out A = 22,000 - (800*12)

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

work out what's in the brackets first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i multiply 800 x 12?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

do that first then subtract your answer from 22,000

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhh okay thank you so much
