What is the equation of the line? http://static.k12.com/bank_packages/files/media/mathml_736cc3e96d1570175813346111b48b2037ebc246_1.gif http://static.k12.com/bank_packages/files/media/mathml_d4456db501bc4423eddfb5c5a5046eaa92ff9380_1.gif

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

im confused, do you need these graphed or, in an equation...if it is an equation do you need it in standard form or point slope form...etc., I need more detail

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

oh ok so Y = mx +b is standard equation...M is slope and B is y intercept y-intercept is 0 slope is up 1 left 4 --> -1/4 so your answer is Y=-1/4

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

Solve or answer the item. 9. (3 pt) Points A and B lie on the graph of the equation y = −4.3x. What are the y-coordinates for each point? Point A: (−3, ) Point B: (5, )

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

10. (3 pt) Which describes the slope of this line? A. positive slope B. negative slope C. zero slope D. undefined slope http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1503500_1504000/1503773/1/7d69ec46ffc5d59c130886d30bc5ca7f0b9ee285/MS_IMC-140523-131304.jpg

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

on 10 it is a negative slope because it goes down, I am not sure about #9

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

What is the slope of the line passing through the points (–1, 3) and (4, –7)?

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

-2/4 is the slope

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

sorry simplified it is -2/1

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

c or d?

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

D if any fraction is over 1 you can just keep the top #

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

so c?

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

it is -2...that's D right??
