It is mice, Mice will guard their young by huddling over them, it also keeps them warm. Mice can have up to twelve babies a litter, and it takes them about three weeks to be weaned. Mice will clean their young after they are born, guarding and feeding them until they grow stronger. As they do the mice will start to wander away and the mouse will spend a lot of her time retreaving them. They grow fur at about ten days, and can leave their mother at three weeks.
