The indus valley and river were present in ancient India. the river does not exist now. It was present in present Pakistan and India. The first civilizations were in valleys around river mouths: Indus, Tigris, Euphrates and Nile. Boaz. Their significance is that civilization began around rivers. People depended upon a water source to prosper. they all developed around large rivers that flooded silt which was used for farming The significance of the Four Early River Valley Civilizations is simple. The four early River valley civilizations is where civilization began. It was where people began to form language and types of writing. It is where agriculture and communities its start. The four early River valley civilizations are important because they helped to provide a model of a civiliation.
