What is the solution to the equation? sqrt2x+10 -6 = 2 (I kinda have the concept of how to do it... Just don't know if I subtract 6 to that 2 or just bring it over, add them and then square root)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sqrt{2x+10} - 6=2\] Better Visual :)

OpenStudy (adamaero):

combine that 6 & 2 already!

OpenStudy (adamaero):

sign changes (opposite sign) when you move from one side of equation to another

Figured it out nvm :P

OpenStudy (adamaero):

If you were unsure to add the 6 to 2, and continue...you should try it out (it works)
