latter refers to the second side. so its saying the angle opposite the side with length 37 is 20 degrees.

So I got it right? Sin20 deg./37= SinC/42 = 42sin20deg/37= sin C
=0.3882 deg. =sinC 
Inverse function
22.8 deg = C
180 deg- 22.8 deg= 157.2 deg
