Which fractions are greater than - 7/15 ? Choose exactly two answers that are correct. A. - 4/9 B. - 6/11 C. - 5/11 D. - 1/2

jabez177 (jabez177):

@Jhannybean can u help me or just x plain this 2 moi

This can be a bit tricky. Remember greater than is going to be a little difficult when your working with negatives (the bigger the number, the smaller it is). So I recommend seeing what each is as a decimal, so we can see easier.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-7/15 = -0.466 Repeating Let's look at A.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. -4/9 = -0.44 Repeating. Go ahead and do the others and pick the two that are greater than -7/15 or -0.467

Let me know if you have any trouble.

ok so like he already said that try to change into decimal so you can see better first one is - 4/9 -7/5 + 4/9 do dis if you got negative answer then -7/5 is bigger because if greater number have minus sign then answer should be negative

jabez177 (jabez177):

so a and d or c

Nnesha (nnesha):

question asking for \(\color{blue}{two}\) answer

jabez177 (jabez177):

yes

Nnesha (nnesha):

so how can be B D and c ;) ok lets do together

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nnesha (nnesha):
