Why did the government and Andrew Jackson relocate thousands of American Indians out of western territories?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they mainly relocated them for more territory that the government wanted

Well pretty much congress passed a bill saying "Our new land is no longer your land" Giving the ability to the U.S. to relocate Native Americans who were in their "New land" with military power, because certain tribes did fight back.

yes very true the tribes origanlly fought back because the amicans tried to force them out of there land in doing this the government had no choice but to come up with some deal that the native amiricans would agree with but it is also known that the government kept relocating them to smaller areas therefor the government wants there land and has found a way to get it without war
