Daniel could do 20 pushups when he first began his workout program. He increased the number of pushups he completed by 5 each week for 8 wk. Let w represent the number of weeks, and let p represent the number of pushups he completed. What is the slope of the line that models this situation? A. 5 B. 8 C. 20 D. 40
Wouldn't the slope be B?
The slope is how much the 'line' is going up each time so what do you believe it to be?
the slope should be 5 because he increased the no. of push ups by 5 each week
Ok i get it can i get help with a few more?
slope=rise/run and since it is going up 5 each time (1) then 5 is the rise and anything over 1, is the beginning number so @uri is correct.
