Solar power is a sustainable way to gather energy as it does not harm the atmosphere and carbon emissions. However,sunlight may not always be available in winter months due to shorter days and longer nights. solar panels can also be very expensive to set up, but costs can be broken even over a period of years.

Nuclear power can be a cheap way to produce electricity as deposits of uranium and plutonium will last for the next couple of thousands of years (3000-4000 years). power plants can cost colossal amounts to set up but have relatively low running costs.
