Solve the system of linear equations below.Which one? 2x + 3y = 2 x + 6y = 4 A.x = 0, y = 2 3 B.x = 2, y = - 2 3 C.x = 4 3 , y = 2 9 D.x = 4, y = -2
Any specific method, there is a super easy way to check with the solutions given but I rather see you learn the method you're suppose to use :)
I like substitution, so assuming you can pick any method, what you want to do is: Isolate one of the variables in one of the equations (get x or y on its own) Then once you have x or y isolated, plug it into the second equation, and you'll be left with one variable in the equation, and you can then solve for the variable. After you get that certain variable, you can plug it in either equation 1 or 2 and solve for the other, and behold you'll have your x and y value :p
