This isn't really literature, but if you could help out I'd be much obliged!
For an extracurricular class, we are making presentations on past travels and future ones. The whole thing is supposed to be centered on a metaphorical reason for traveling. Any ideas for metaphors? Thanks Y'all!

a metaphor of course im pretty sure u know is a comparison without using like or as
for future and past I would use it to compare it to a circus
Time is a circus, always packing up and moving away
you can se time to explain the different events occurring, and a circus to describe the chaos of traveling and the rustling of picking up and going throughout phases of life and of course traveling.
