This isn't quite relevant to the subject, but if you could help out I'd be much obliged! For an extracurricular class, we are making presentations on past travels and future ones. The whole thing is supposed to be centered on a metaphorical reason for traveling. Any ideas for metaphors? Thanks Y'all!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

love your name. remember a metaphor is a word or phrase that is used to make a comparison between two people, things, animals, or places. so let me think a few minutes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like traveling to a place?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks haha, our teacher showed us a music video (George ezra's Budapest) and we discussed the underlying ideas, like the guy giving up his past experiences for a girl. Another one was how each person possesses their own ideas, and how we share them.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

maybe explain where you traveled before and where you will travel and explain the similarities between the two

OpenStudy (anonymous):

At the moment, my past travel is San Francisco. I'm thinking I may base my metaphorical reason on finding my roots (that'd be my future travel, Dublin).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good idea

I may do what you're saying, but so far I'm still thinking of Metaphors. Perhaps something like "finding myself in a land I've never been to". Anyways, I thank you for giving me some brainstormyness, and I'll keep you informed!

ok. let me know what you think
