NEED HELP, NO IDEA. WILL MEDAL. Consider the point (0,0). Should it be used as a test point for the system of y>x^2 ; y<-x^2? explain why or why not.

So you have a system of inequalities here. Normally, when you solve these, it involves choosing a point on one "side" of the graph, to see if that side of the region satisfies the inequality. So here its asking if (0,0) is appropriate

Yes, that's what you had to decide. I never said it was appropriate. So you are correct. It should not be used to test the inequalities. Why is that?
