Medal and fan ! Triangle ABC is shown below with line DE passing through the center. Imagine triangle ABC was dilated by a scale factor of three about the center of the triangle, and a line was drawn passing through its center. What would you know about the line of the dilated figure as compared to line DE drawn below?

do you know it @Jhannybean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it would be higher on the graph or maybe lower. i really am not sure though and am not sure if i am right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you mean by higher or lower?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this question is very hard

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, dilated means to get wider, so i was thinking that if the triangle got wider, i am thinking the line would get wider

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am not sure, but thats my guess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah i see what you are trying to say, thank you :) Thats also kinda what i was thinking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please let me know whenever possible if i am right. would mean a lot!
