Please help! Two trains leave stations 448 miles apart at the same time and travel toward each other. One train travels at 90 miles per hour while the other travels at 70 miles per hour. How long will it take for the two trains to meet? Do not do any rounding.

\[448\div(90+70)\]

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

\[d_T = r_T \cdot t\]\[t=\frac{d_T}{r_T}\]\[r_T = 90~\text{mph} + 70~\text{mph}\]\[d_T = 448~\text{mi}\]Exactly what @satellite73 did :)

thank you guys!!
