That's an equilateral triangle since the three interior angles are congruent. So angle x =60 degrees; angle y = 60 degrees and angle z =60 degrees. If you want to know the value of x in the expression 3x+6, note there is 180 degree in a straight line. So the sum angle y and angle (3x +6) equals 180 degrees. 60 + (3x +6)= 180 3x+6=120 3x=114 x=38 If you take the sum of angle z and (3x-6) equals 180 degrees 60+(3x-6)=180 3x-6=120 3x=126 x=42 Will the real value of x please stand up! Clearly there is a problem with the labeling.
