what do you think will happen if Jerry places an animal cell in an environment where water continually enters the animal cell? Explain your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So as you know animal cells don't have cell walls, so the function that the cell wall usually perform is that it keeps a cell from bursting. Without a cell wall to perform osmoregulation, a cell will not be able to maintain its shape. So if water is allowed to freely enter a cell that does not have a cell wall, what would ''YOU'' expect to happen to the cell?

And btw, the question asks your opinion and not someone else's. So, ''what do *YOU* think will happen''?
