Which function has the greatest rate of change? http://prntscr.com/5cs8jv @iGreen @hartnn @Directrix @Callisto @Loser66 @paki @perl @paki

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In order to find this don't I have to find the slope of the lines again? @iGreen

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can i get help with my question please ?

OpenStudy (perl):

each line, you have to determine the slope

OpenStudy (igreen):

What's the slope of y = 2x - 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

m = 2

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yep.

OpenStudy (igreen):

Let's rearrange 6x - 7y = 21 into slope-intercept form. First, subtract 6x to both sides: -7y = -6x + 21 Divide -7 to both sides: y = 6/7x - 3 So what's the slope of this one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

m = 6/7

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yep.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just find the slope of each answer choice and whichever answer has the higher value slope will be my answer?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yep.

OpenStudy (igreen):

Rate of Change is the same thing as Slope.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks(:

OpenStudy (igreen):

For #3, we can take two points and plug them into the slope equation. Let's take (2, 7) and (3, 13). \(m = \dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\) \(m = \dfrac{13-7}{3-2}\) Can you finish that? @iRespect

OpenStudy (igreen):

@H2adeelo Don't give answers, plus your answer is wrong..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

M = 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think C is correct

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yep, that's right..it's 6..and C is your answer..the slope of D is 3..

OpenStudy (igreen):

#1 = 6/7 #2 = 2 #3 = 6 #4 = 3
