I need an explaination/step by step. CONFUSED! please help! Amy, Bob, Charlie, Doug, and Elvira work for a group within a company. A subgroup of three of them will be chosen to represent the group at a job conference. How many different groups of three could be selected?

ok so 5 people work at the same place. 3 of them will represent all 5 of them at a job conference. how many possible combinations of three are possible? There are ten possible combinations. Yep Hey if this wasn't any help whatsoever...there is khan academy...they give free tutor-videos to everyone and have practically everything :)
