Help me solve this basic equation? (Forgot a rule)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll help you.

OpenStudy (animelover98):

\[x^\frac{ 1 }{ 3}\] divided by \[x^ \frac{ 1 }{ 12 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are there any multiple choices?

OpenStudy (animelover98):

No, it is an open ended question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok.

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

HINT:\[\frac{x^a}{x^b}=x^{a-b}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, I used a calculator and got 0.397, so I rounded that to 0.40.

OpenStudy (animelover98):

@asnaseer Thank you! Forgot about that! 1/3-1/12 hm?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, ok he got the answer already. Sorry I couldn't help.

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

OpenStudy (animelover98):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
