I am going to do the Michael brown case and I was hesitant to post this, but I don't know what to include, I was told by my teacher to not do abortion because everyone has said that they are doing that topic

The Micheal Brown case is a good option. There is quite a lot to say about it. Many people root for Micheal, and others root for the policeman. Who are you rooting for in your persuasive essay?

It is not about offending, it is about convincing. You just choose what you think is right. If someone gets offended, then they need to recognize that people have different points of view.

Okay, so if you are rooting for the policeman, try answering a few questions like this:

Why do you think he is innocent/ why are you rooting for him?
Do you think that he or Micheal should have acted differently?
How does it make you feel to hear what happened/ what were your first thoughts on it?
What would you do if you were in the officer's position?
Would you have acted differently or the same?
Justify why what the officer did was right.

i think that the cop was in the right because michael brown was on top of the cop and hit the gun away from his hands haha

yea and this is what the cop said in his interview
He grabs my gun, says, “You are too much of a pussy to shoot me.” The gun goes down into my hip and at that point I thought I was getting shot. I can feel his fingers try to get inside the trigger guard with my finger and I distinctly remember envisioning a bullet going into my leg. I thought that was the next step.
and they released his criminal records and it said that he had previously murdered someone and robed previously and so it wasn't like he was innocent

ya thats what im saying they were completely moronic with their actions! the reason they are doing it is completely absurd. they have no real reason to do that. if they were smarter and as organized as they appear to be then they would not be lighting eachothers car on fire. i get that they lit the cops car on fire because thats who they are fighting but why do that to eachother? they should just use the scariness of a silent protest
