Which statement about Peter the Great is NOT correct? He was the first ruler in the Romanov line, which reigned into the 19th century. He passed a law requiring Russians to pay taxes if they wore beards. He was well-travelled and wanted to make Russia more like Western Europe. He founded the city of Saint Petersburg and ordered Russian nobles to build houses there. Please help. Thank you!
