Try take square root of both sides.
Then you would have \(X = \pm\sqrt{121}\) \(\pm\) because \(X\) was squared, so \(X\) could be either positive or negative.
Answer is not just 11. @iamabarbiegirl
yeah thats what i did \[\sqrt{121} = 11 \] and 11^2 = 121 how is it wrong?

\(X\) could be \(-11\), because \((-11)^2 = 121\) @iamabarbiegirl
