PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LOOK ?

This isn't really studying but i really want to become a singer . since i could sing i did it none top on the way I found a new best friend and shes as dedicated as me. We know we will make it what do you think ? any advice ??

If you know you can do something then you probably can.
Just have some confidence in yourself, I am sure you will make it and don't let people tell you otherwise.

stick with it.
know that practice is key.
learn your stuff.
get into playing piano. that's a must.
train your voice.
find your range.
practice by making sure your pitch is perfect even when you aren't hearing a certain note or song.
always drink lots of water even when you aren't going to be performing or singing or whatever.
always, always do drills before you sing.
keep with practice. if you stop for a day, know that's a set back.

listen to critiques, listen to good and bad feedback. don't have a fit when you get told something you may not like. except wisdom. and lastly, know that you can do anything, and nothing will stop you except yourself.

o ya just follow wat u want to do if u want to sing then do it go on like the voice or something dont let people say o well u cant bcuz u need to work on this just say ok i work on that and then go sing

*Start trying to find places that you can sing. Like a talent show or church (even if its small scale)
*Learn an instrument. That will make you more "sellable"
*Post videos on YouTube (if you do this, make sure the videos are edited nicely. No one wants to watch a crumby, low quality home video.)
*With that last tip ^ make music videos. If you want a free app, VideoStar is nice but you can only use songs that are in your music playlist.
*Advertise yourself on Youtube, Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram. To get shoutouts at least on IG (Instagram) you have to give a shout out to a big page. They will most likely give you a shout out back. For that matter, make a second page that you can post specifically about your music on.
*A website I found that you can put auditions on is CallTime. You have a profile and directors/casting agents can look at your profile and ask you to work places.
*Enter compititions. I know in my state (Wisconsin lol) There is a Wisconsin Idol. See if there is one where you live and try out.
*Make sure you look the part. Your image is a huge part of stardom
*This one is just a side note but there are a lot of challenges of being famous, be sure to set boundries and have relationships so you don't slip into drugs or depression etc. You don't want to have that kind of image. And in Hollywood, don't be afraid to stand up for what you believe in. People will say awful things about you, so don't take it personally. Maybe don't even read comments lol. But just be strong and know who you are. (I have thought about this a lot. I want to become an actress/singer)
*Know your stuff. Show people that you know what your doing. Have your style and stick with it.
The most important thing is to sell yourself. Don't be vain but make yourself look good. Be easy to work with. And be nice to EVERYONE! I can't wait to see you at the top! I forgot this one but I read for acting at least that you will want to find a coach and an agent. Some one to help you get better and someone to find you gigs. Even if that's you and your friends for now, you will want a professional eventually..
