Help? I am completely confused.
with what?
ABC has vertices A(0, 0), B (0, 4), C(3, 0). Where do the three altitudes of the triangle intersect?
>.< I keep getting (0,0) But I feel like it's wrong >_>
you want to go with a simplea pproach?
can you draw it?
that's for helping me with my question
:D I already graphed it
that works, so if you have graphed it, does 0,0 look reasonable firs, then we can check numerically, but it's nice to see
next, can you describe what an altitude is in your own words?
I'll make something on desmos.. desmos drawing.. but I might not be in time.
here the graph
is that good?^
yes it is
so, can you describe waht an altitude is please @OmiLala ?
this is what you want though... |dw:1417643019117:dw|
So you would want to find the midpoint of each side. Then, find the line from the corner to the midpoint of the opposite (to the corner) side. all 3 lines (1 from each corner) should intersect at 1 point.
I am not sure about this though.
it says the attitudes, so you need not the midpoints, but the lines that forms 2 90 degree angles that supplementary to each other.
can you wait for her/him to provide a description of an altitude please?
Oh sorry
