which part of the sentence is underlined?
a independent clause is sentence fragment that can stand by its self
So the independent clause is "Leon will start washing the dishes" since its an independent clause
the subordinate clause is "while we finish clearing the table" because it cannot stand by itself
a subordinate clause is an dependent clause, the dependent clause depends on the independent clause.
