speed is distance / time in other words, change in distance divided by change in time

It is the same problem as finding the slope of the line can you figure out the slope (change in y / change in x)

since it is asking for speed in miles per hour loo at the graph since it travels 120 miles in 2 hours 120/2=60 the speed is 60 mph

look at the time.....go to 1 hr....follow it up till it reaches the line and it lands on 60 miles...which is 60 mph
