Fan and Meddle Can you prove that the two triangles are similar? Justify your answer. http://static.k12.com/eli/bb/817/-1/0/2_36816_44974/-1/2ac68751b2fe61b4a32fdc0bbfdc988931f3846d/media/cd2d4e5cd47a746a39770cff915a858af21cf1be/mediaasset_651969_1.gif

There is only one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

One what?

OpenStudy (ahsome):

Triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry, the other one is exactly the same

OpenStudy (ahsome):

So, if the other triangle is exactly the same, then yes, they are similar. If you could show the image, then I can say why.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it was just weird it seams to simple

OpenStudy (ahsome):

Do they both have an angle with one circle, and other with two circle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (ahsome):

Then they are similar. If two angles are the same, then third one has to be too. Therefore, they are similar, but not exact. The only way to know that is to know their lengths also

THANKS

OpenStudy (ahsome):

No problem :) @kelmorris
