MEDAL AND FAN What is the value of the function when t = 3? http://static.k12.com/bank_packages/files/media/mathml_07ebf66549fe68e96371de9866f57eca6e90909a_1.gif

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Plug in for t: v = 3/2 * (3) - 5/2 v = 9/2 - 5/2 v = 4/2 v = 2 The value is of v is 2 when t = 3.

ok thank you i am not good with fractions can you stay here i might have more

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

\(\large\color{black}{ f(t)=\frac{3}{2}t-\frac{5}{2} }\) when to is 3, you are just plugging in 3 for t. but don't get erors with your notations, it is F of t, "a function of f" (just like f(x)"

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

when t is 3, not when to is 3.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so 2 is right thank you

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

\(\large\color{black}{ f(\color{red}{2})=\frac{3}{2}(\color{red}{2})-\frac{5}{2}=2-1\frac{1}{2} =\frac{1}{2}}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I PASSED 100% THANK YOU

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

\(\large\color{black}{ f(\color{red}{3})=\frac{3}{2}(\color{red}{3})-\frac{5}{2}=\frac{9}{2} -\frac{5}{2} =2}\)
