alternate interior angles are = to eachother. so think of the diagonal as a transverse line

Z would be 109 degrees. As the opposite sides are the same measurement. Y would be 38 degrees as it must equal 180, that side of the triangle. X would be 33 degrees z is 109, so the top part must be 71 degrees, where the 33 degrees is already there. 71-33=38. The bottom part must be 38
