If the length of one leg of a right triangle is 16 and the length of the other leg is odd, what are the lengths of all the sides of the triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got 5.6 because that and 16 give you about 90 so that would mean that the lengths are 5.6, 16, and 21.6 but im not sure

Directrix (directrix):

@Skydog07 5.6 is not an odd integer.

Directrix (directrix):

Using a table of Pythagorean Triples at http://www.tsm-resources.com/alists/trip.html , the leg of odd length is 63. @300lux You can use the table to find the hypotenuse: look for 16, 63, ___?____ or use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the hypotenuse.
