Brain Teaser. :=) A chicken farmer has figured out that a hen and a half can lay an egg and a half in a day and a half. How many hens does the farmer need to produce one dozen eggs in six days?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Easy. 1 1/2 hen produces 3 eggs in 3 days so they produce 6 eggs in 6 days. So that would mean he would need 3 hens to make a dozen eggs in 6 days.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can do this ALL DAY.

OpenStudy (cicilybailey14):
