oh! I got it :P x+x+2+2+2=2x+6 so that's not it 2(x+3)=2x+6 not that either \(2x+2^3\)=2x+8 so it is this one because \(2^3\) equals 2*2*2 which equals 8 4+x+2+x=2x+6 so we know that the third one is correct :D

so what I showed you is part of a. A. The expression given that is not equivalent to the expression 2x+6 is 2x+2^3 because 2 cubed equals 8, not 6. We can correct this by doing 2x+2(3) instead.
