you have 2oints on the line, (5,5) & (10,1) |dw:1417781739665:dw| from just those 4 numbers you calculate the slope: \[slope =\frac{ y _{2}-y _{1} }{ x _{2}-x _{1} }\] put in the numbers from my drawing and 'do the maths' HINT and Warning!! Be careful with the sign (+/-) of your answer
