@Michele_Laino

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

Please, keep in mind that Ca is an alkali metal earthy. Namely all chemical elements belonging to the second column from left of periodic table, are called alkali metals earthy, and their electronegativity is 2

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

Sorry not electronrgativity, but oxidation number, namely oxidation number of Ca is 2, whereas oxidation number of F is 1, so?

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

@TheAsker2002

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

difference of electronnegativity between Ca and F is high, so chemical bond between them is ionic.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A i think

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

that's right!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

yes!!!

OpenStudy (michele_laino):
