A number decreased by 16 is 13 im in need of finding the number to this because i dont have the first clue on how to do this one.

OpenStudy (loser66):

n-16=13 solve for n

OpenStudy (anonymous):

exactly @Loser66 to solve this you need to isolate the n (the number you're looking for) on one side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

n-16=13 basically, just add 13+16 to get n

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can do this by adding 16 to both sides, this will get rid of the 16 next to the n
